Punishers at Superbowl XLIV

During Super Bowl 44 the Palm Beach Punishers had the honor of serving as ambassadors of the IWFL; working with the NFL and Play 60 at the three-day pre-game event Feb 3-5th.  Over the three days members of the Punishers helped coach students from six years old and up on the mechanics of catching, throwing, flag pulling, agilities, and flag football concepts.  It was a tremendous opportunity for the IWFL and the Punishers to work with the NFL staff and players such as Josh Cribbs, Braylon Edwards, Brandon Jacobs, Dwayne Bowe, and many members of the Miami Dolphins.  Along with young kids, the Punishers also worked with the Special Olympics and Florida high school girls flag football teams.  It was clearly a rewarding way to help encourage youth and women’s football.  For more information on how to stay active and Play 60 go to www.nflrush.com.
